New Jersey: Winter Wonderland

Snow, snow, snow, snow! We got about six inches and it's lovely: light, powdery and pristine. This is my holiday card to all you wonderful folks here at RTY: my house in the snow.

And Brodie the Snow Dog in full gallop (carrying something in his mouth he wasn't supposed to have, of course):

I hope your holidays are merry and bright...with just a touch of the white stuff!

What a beautiful scene! What a large attic you must have . . . so much space to fill with yarn & fleeces. ;>

Beautiful! And just the way I like snow: in a picture and far away (What? You enjoy it your way and I'll enjoy it mine.)

Thanks, guys! It really is pretty and makes me feel all Christmas-y.

LOL, Laura, but actually I only have two little crawl spaces in my attic because the third floor is mostly finished. In fact, my writing room is up "in the garret", as my other blog is titled. Amazingly, I have a hard time finding a home for my fiber stash.

Brodie LOVES the snow. He does the "Brodie Bounce", leaping around so that his front end and his back end don't seem to quite know that they are connected. It's not at all graceful but quite hilarious.

Pretty scene, Nancy. Belongs on the cover of a novel!

Oh, it's quite lovely!

We did get a little of the "white stuff" for Christmas (a couple days early). We "almost got stuck"* in So. Cal. because the grapevine was closed due to snow, but it reopened in time to let us through -- yet there was still just enough on the ground that we had a very-mini-snowball fight before heading home.

*yes, we could have taken an alternate route. But it's more fun to talk about being snowed in.
