Very OT: Hockey history was made last night
I know there are lots of hockey fans on this blog. Hockey sticks and knitting needles seem to create an affinity somehow. You know that hockey history was made last night AND I WAS THERE. If you'd like to see some pix and commentary, head over to my blog http://fromthegarret.wordpress.com/ to check them out. Here's a preview:

Love that he cut the net off to save it. Priceless.
He said that basketball players have it a lot easier because the net is so much smaller. LOL.
Nancy, I am so jealous! I've only been to one game this year. I have spent most of my time in FL this winter because of family matters, but should be back in NJ next week. Maybe I'll get to see the 103 shutouts game.

Ginny, I hope Marty makes it there this season. He certainly is looking good but I try never to jinx anything.
I'm sorry to hear you've had to miss so many Devils games. Glad you're back in the Garden State now.
Go, Devils!
Cool! I love it when I come across hockey fans in unexpected places!
