Perfect Pouch - after it's felted (BB)

Perfect Pouch - after it's felted (BB)

Oh how cute! How long did it take to knit up? I love small bags (though I carry around way too much junk to get much use out of them) and am working on a little heart motif pouch for my daughter for the felt-along. I hope it turns out as nicely as yours.

The basic knitting takes less than a day - it's all stockinette in a constant state of decreasing. The attached I-cord and I-cord strap might take you another day. It's a bit time-consuming but fun.

Thanks for the kind words. These bags are well-named because they are the perfect quick gift.

I make sure to give myself one every year. I can't live w/o a Perfect Pouch now.

One caveat: I always make them in NORO Kureyon and after a few months of hard use, the felted Kureyon pills noticeably. A sweater stone helps a lot but that lovely tight newness never returns.
