"Knitting is very conducive to thought. It is nice to knit a while, put down the needles, write a while, then take up the sock again." --Dorothy Day

How cute!
They turned out great! What yarn did you use?
Pretty girls, pretty clogs! I'd love to try that patttern.
Thanks everyone! The pattern is Children's Felt Clogs by Fiber Trends. They make an optional suede sole you can sew on, but Emma and Kate enjoy 'skating' on the wood floor so much, I guess I'm not going to bother with it. I used Lamb's Pride Bulky, which gave these a really nice, sturdy weight. It was a very quick, easy knit.
Awesome! Our LYS just started carrying Lamb's Pride.....I'm going to have to check into this!

I don't know which is cuter- the clogs or the girls!
Jean - yes, the sole is double thick. You pick up stitches all along the edge of the sole on the clog, then knit a second sole and attach it with a three needle bind off. My six-year old Emma says it feels like she's walking on clouds!
Fiber Trends also has an adult version of this pattern.
