"Knitting is very conducive to thought. It is nice to knit a while, put down the needles, write a while, then take up the sock again." --Dorothy Day

No, no - stripey goodness!
Why am I imagining freaky long toes in that sock?
Holy moley! Good thing it's not in 3-D!! Someone has got some LOOOOONG feet! (But won't those feet feel wonderful in those lovely, hand-knit socks!!!)
Kim
Holy Cow - what size feet are those socks for????? You must really love whoever you're knitting those for :-)
Wow. Bigfoot socks.
Yikes, is there a second one??
Ellen
lol. This happened because you were so involved in the plot line for your next book, right? I made a sock once that was very wide around the middle. I haven't gotten around to ripping it out yet. I just pull it out to show people every now and then.
Want to be =really= scared? They fit Goldisox perfectly!
LOL -- I like striped socks -- am mad for them, really.
And I'm impressed Goldisox would wear them. My husband wouldn't be caught dead in stripes.
And that is why I don't knit my hubby socks - how many skeins did that take??
I agree...those are nightmarish-looking socks, and the yarn certainly doesn't help matters one iota! The foot that will fit into these must be Big Foot, perhaps? LOL!!
lol
Thank you, now I know how long I'll be knitting socks for a friend. Yes, he wear's size 14 shoes.
you poor thing. you have my greatest sympathies.
just tell me he hates hand knit socks and all will be well.
yikes!
If those were my socks, I would wear them, but I would be thanking God I don't look at my feet often...the colors? kind of make my eyes sting!
Now now it's not that bad!!! Really!!
I got the pretty super soft pink yarn and the tote bag!! Thank you!! How did you know I needed yet another tote bag? seriously.. it was perfect timing!
Thank you!!
